Description
Type 5A molecular sieve comprises alkali alumino silicate in its calcium form, featuring a Type A crystal structure. With an effective pore opening of 5 angstroms (0.5 nm), it selectively adsorbs molecules with kinetic diameters less than 5 angstroms while excluding larger ones. It finds special suitability in PSA adsorber applications, facilitating the separation of normal- and iso-paraffins (C4 to C6 species), PSA hydrogen purification, and oxygen concentrators.
Zeolite 5A can remove moisture, carbon dioxide, mercaptans, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide and other hydro carbon. It is especially suitable for the separation of petrochemicals gas in PSA hydrogen purification and oxygen concentration.
Application
1.Separating normal- and iso-paraffins (such as C4 to C6 species).
2.Purifying hydrogen in PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) processes to remove impurities.
3.Increasing oxygen concentration in oxygen concentrators.
4.Removing moisture from liquid and gaseous substances through adsorption drying.
5.Purifying gas streams and removing impurities in petroleum and natural gas processing.
